CXC Exam Centre:
Global Technology Academic Centre is an approved Ministry of Education Exam Centre for CXC.
Continuous Assessments:
Our
students are continually assessed. For each subject, a student must
undergo three major assessments per term. An end of term report is
sent to parent or guardian that include the results of the three
assessments as well as attendance.
Standards:
Our Academic Centre maintains high standards in discipline, and this is well accepted by our students. They learn better in a structured environment.
Communication with parents and guardians:
We constantly communicate with parents
and guardians to discuss the performance of their children. There
are also scheduled meetings with staff members.

Over the years, we have consistently improved the academic performance of our students at their respective schools and the CXC Examinations.

Curriculum:
The Ministry of Education's Syllabus is applied for Forms 1-3 and the CXC syllabus for Forms 4-5. There are also Academic Hours where students may consult with teachers outside of classroom time, for additional assistance and information.
Convenient Timetables:
Classes are conducted at convenient times every afternoon during the week, between 3:30pm and 6:30pm. For students who cannot attend classes during the week, there are classes held on Saturdays.
Adult Classes:
Special adult classes are available for persons who have left school and would still like to complete CXC Mathematics and English.
Affordable Fees:
Global Technology offers affordable fees per subject and there is no
registration fee.
Class Size:
Average class size is
20. Maximum class size is 25.
Facilities:
Spacious classrooms with white boards,
comfortable chairs and tables and tiled floors that is conducive to
learning.
Activities:
Site visits to different companies in Guyana are arranged. This is done so that they can understand the work environment. These visits will also help them to visualize present careers, and to plan their own career with the help of Global Technology staff. They also enjoy sporting activities with classmates, organized by Global Technology.
