GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

In order to provide quality education and maintain high standards we seek your co-operation in adhering to the following rules and regulations.

DISCIPLINE:

1) All students should be well behaved at all times.

2) No loud talking in and around the building.

3) Rudeness, indecent language and interference with other students will not be tolerated.

4) Littering in the classroom and around the building is prohibited. (Waste paper baskets are provided).

5) No chewing gum, food or drinks will be allowed in class especially in the Computer Laboratory.

6) Furniture, equipment, fittings or any part of the building should not be damaged or written on.

7) The staircase should be used only to go from one floor to the other. Running, playing, idling or leaning over the stairs as well as sitting on the rails is strictly prohibited.

8) The students should bring stationery (e.g. paper, pen, pencil, calculator, etc) and any textbooks suggested by the tutor, as borrowing is not allowed.

9) Regular attendance for all classes and completion of assignments on time are important for success in each subject.

10) For students registered for Computer Courses attendance is compulsory at all the sessions allocated in the timetable. Global Technology Inc will not be responsible for non-completion of the course due to poor attendance and regrets that classes cannot be rescheduled due to the rigid time-table allocated to the courses.

[In cases of urgent unforeseen circumstances if the student is absent for any one of the classes and if the Manager or Tutor is notified in advance by two weeks of start date, alternate arrangements would be made to complete the course, provided the computer laboratory is available.]

11) Offensive literature, games, radio/walkman etc. or any other material other than study materials is not allowed in the classroom.

12) Access to the telephone is not permitted whether to receive or send messages. Any urgent message may be conveyed through the Manager/Tutor.

13) Students are responsible for the security of their belongings.

14) Cell Phones are not permitted to be answered in any classroom. It must be turned off to avoid disturbance to tutors and other class members.
