MCSA
The MCSA
Certification is for professionals who implement, manage, and troubleshoot
existing network and system environments based on the Microsoft Windows
Server operating systems. These individuals typically do not deploy new
networks and systems as part of their job function, as is expected of
individuals holding the MCSE credential.
Entry
Application
There is a compulsory application form that must be submitted in
order to be considered for admission to the program. Entry will be based
on the combination of education background, work experience in computer
field and professional qualifications.
Three common entry qualifications are:
1. Technician Package followed by A+ and Network+ Certifications
OR
2. Networking
knowledge and 12 months experience in the networking field.
OR
3. A degree in
Computer Science or related field.
Registration
The MCSA training package consists of four courses (see below).
The MCSA package fee is Guy $140,000.
The package fee is separate from the cost of the exams. All exams
will be done through the Global Technology Authorised Prometric Testing
Centre and will have to be paid for separately.
The fee per exam is US $80.
Course
Material
The course material includes Microsoft Approved texts with CDs containing
supplementary information, lecture’s handouts, worksheets and practice
exams.
