The Microsoft
Office Specialist (MOS) program is the only comprehensive,
performance-based certification program approved by Microsoft to validate
desktop computer skills using the Microsoft Office programs:

Master
A master certification indicates that you have a comprehensive
understanding of Microsoft Office 2003 and many of its advanced features.
Successfully complete three required and one elective
examination:

3. PowerPoint 2003 (Required)
4. Access (Elective)
5. Outlook (Elective)
Expert
An expert certification indicates that you have a comprehensive
understanding of a specific Microsoft Office 2003 application and its many
advanced features. Successfully complete any ONE of the Expert
examinations:
• Word 2003 Expert
• Excel 2003 Expert
Specialist
A Specialist certification indicates that you have a comprehensive
understanding of a specific Microsoft Office 2003 application. Successfully
complete any ONE of the follow examinations:
• Word 2003
• Excel 2003
• PowerPoint 2003
• Access 2003
• Outlook 2003
Exams
Office
Specialist certification exams are not written exams. Instead, the exams
are performance-based, which means each is conducted within a "live"
Microsoft Office program. Using the actual program, exam candidates are
asked to perform a series of tasks to clearly demonstrate their skills.
Global Technology is also an Authorized MOS Testing Center which is
available for candidates from Tuesday to Friday from 9am – 4pm. Exam fee
per exam is US$40.
