Technician Package

This package is designed to provide the participant with the tools to install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair Personal Computers and to provide a sound understanding of Computer Networks. This is offered to students by way of three (3) individual courses which, when put together, allow for a basic but thorough understanding and troubleshooting of everyday computing technologies.

• PC Repairs & Maintenance
• Operating Systems
• Networking Essentials

Successful completion of Technician Package will:

• Build, Configure, Repair and Maintain personal computers
• Install and update software packages
• Creating and maintaining computer networks

On completion of this package, candidates can apply for jobs including

• Computer Technician
• Technical Support Personnel
• Network Technician

What Next?

Upon completion of the Computer Technician Package, you can further your studies in system and network support by pursuing the CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ Certifications. Then you can move on to the Microsoft Certified IT Professional Certifications.
